Stop Cop City Bay Area: Council Mobilization & Press Conference

Stop Cop City Bay Area: Council Mobilization & Press Conference

There are SIXTY-NINE cop cities being built or already built across the U.S since 2020—including one proposed right here in the Bay Area.

These urban counter-insurgency training centers are called euphemisms like "public safety training facility." Research shows that the major push for these projects began after the 2020 uprisings to further militarize police and train them to quell future mass uprisings. Basically, these will be military bases for police.

We are seeing right now how militarized police are being used across the country to repress pro-Palestine protestors. This descent into fascism will only get worse with cop cities in our communities. We reject the construction of a $44 million regional police training facility in San Pablo.

What: All Out to San Pablo City Council: Press Conference and City Council Mobilization
When: Monday, May 20, 5 PM
Where: 1000 Gateway Ave, San Pablo, CA
